Nat Stabile of Plymouth Meeting, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 11, 2012

Natale (Nat) Stabile of Plymouth Meeting, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 11, 2012. He was 58 years old. Born February 4, 1954 in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Giuseppa (nee Galante) Stabile, the beloved husband of Bridget (nee Candello), loving father of Giuseppe, Anthony and his fiancé Nina Marinelli, Giovanni and the late Natale, and the brother of Domenico Stabile. Nat moved to the U.S. in 1969 with his brother and parents. He became a US citizen in 1982. Nat was an entrepreneur who opened his first pizza shop in Brooklyn in 1970. His success continued with additional restaurants in Norristown in 1973 and Doylestown in 1976. He was also the founder and co-owner of Via Veneto Italian Ice. Nat was a devoted family man who, with an extended family that includes a brother-in-law, 4 sisters-in-law, 3 nieces, 4 nephews and countless cousins. He was an avid outdoorsman, wine maker, inventor, motorcycle enthusiast and philanthropist. He was active in all of the communities in which he did business. His generosity, thirst for knowledge and versatility made him a great and respected friend to everyone in his life. Relatives and friends are invited to Nat's Life Celebration service on Thursday August 16, from 6 to 9 PM and on Friday from 8 to 9:15 AM at Boyd-Horrox of East Norriton 200 West Germantown Pike1-800-GIVNISH. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church on Johnson Highway and New Hope St. Entombment will be in St. Patrick's Mausoleum.
